The Other Bali

Most people leave Bali having seen the same version of it—the same cafés, the same sunset spot, the same shot. The Other Bali is for the ones who know there’s more to this island. There is… and I fell deeply in love with it.

Consider The Other Bali a personal introduction to the regions most visitors overlook, written by someone who spent a decade traveling here before it became home for two years. Not Seminyak or Canggu. Not the Ubud tourist circuit. But the ever-changing landscape from savannas that remind you of the desert and endless vulcano views to lush rice fields to waterfalls that will make your jaw drop and coastal roads that just won’t stop—they’ll feel like the real thing, tbh because they are.

There are still beautiful restaurants, guesthouses and hotels out there if that’s what you’re looking for. They’re just not in the middle of the buzz.
